Hunting no longer relies on random events in the wild, but takes place in the real world, using motion controls to throw Poké Balls.

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu Battles against the Club President and Legendary Pokémon still utilize the classic turn-based battle system. You can assemble a team of six Pokémon, understand their strengths and weaknesses, and devise clever strategies to defeat powerful opponents, progress through levels, and ultimately win the tournament. Pikachu is a special Pokémon in your team. It can learn powerful and unique moves that other Pokémon cannot learn, and can use HMs to explore the world without needing to use special HMs.
