The game begins with you creating your own character and traveling to an abandoned farm in the quiet village of Prensdorf. There, you are welcomed by the friendly mayor. He explains that the weekly market is the heart of the town and that it is your duty to help the community. So, you start planting and harvesting crops, raising animals in the barn, and making friends with non-player characters. You get to know them better through quests and scenarios. In some cases, you can even marry one of them. Days, weeks, and seasons pass, and as you may have noticed, many of the core elements of this genre remain the same.
