The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (BOTW) NSP is an open-world action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo. It is available for Nintendo Switch and Wii U. BOTW ushered in a new era of immense success for Nintendo’s next-generation console, the Nintendo Switch. The game received a score of 98/100 on Metacritic, placing it second on lists of the best games of all time. This article focuses on the Switch version of the game. Story

The story of “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” begins one hundred years before the main events. The Demon King, Ganon the Calamity, awakens after Zelda breaks his seal. He takes control of the Guardians after killing the four heroes and the King of Hyrule. While trying to stop Princess Zelda from escaping, Link is gravely injured. Zelda rescues him and revives him. She then sends him to the warriors of Kakariko Village to be placed in the Shrine of Resurrection for a long sleep before disappearing.
